General Pain

Understanding your pain...

When pain occurs it is showing you that somewhere in your body a problem has surfaced. People shrug pain off everyday thinking it will work its way out, but that may not be the case. You might need to seek professional help to correct and maintain the problem.

There are 2 types of pain you could be suffering from:

Acute Pain

This pain is new to the body and can be caused by a sprain, cut, broken bone etc. The pain can be mild to severe and will usually dissipate with healing.

Chronic Pain

This pain is different and might be accompanied by insomnia, exhaustion, even weight change and can last up to six months or more. Many look to painkillers to alienate the symptoms, this seems like the right thing to do, after all no one wants to live in the discomfort of pain. Quite often painkillers will mask the cause of the problem by reducing the amount of pain. Doesn’t it make more sense to find the true cause of the pain and treat it directly?

I've had low back pain for as long as I can remember, and had even tried another chiropractor in the past with limited success. When my middle back started bothering me and I was getting headaches everyday I finally couldn't take it any longer. I was referred to Dr. Miller by a friend, and thought I would give it another try. He was very upfront and set goals for my care. I would definitely recommend Dr. Miller and Karina (massage therapist) at Canterbury Chiropractic and am so glad I gave Chiropractic

I go to the chiropractor regularly, and was looking for someone that would allow me to come and go as I needed to. Dr. Miller has been very accommodating with his schedule and isn't pushy like a lot of Chiropractors I've seen.

I've always had slight back pains but never thought of going to a chiropractor. But recently I was involved in a car accident, and the pains in my back intensified. I was referred to Dr. Miller by my sister and boy am I sure glad that I made that call. After one treatment, my back and neck pains have decreased immensely! Dr. Miller is very knowledgeable, thorough, and explains everything to you step by step. I will definitely be continuing to go there for my care!

I know there is so much controversy between chiropractic and medical care, but if it were not for chiropractic I would still be in pain. A car accident left me with constant back pain. I tried everything from painkillers to preparing to have surgery. I heard stories from my friends who had surgery and to this day wish they never had it. I decided to go to Dr. Miller before the surgery and I am so thankful that I did. My back pain is 95% gone and my life has changed because of Dr. Miller. Thank you so much!

From the time I walked in the door I was impressed! I was seen promptly, and Dr. Miller was a true professional. When I was younger I was in a car accident and have been suffering with neck and back pain. Almost to the point that I couldn't get out of bed! After 6 treatments I started to see relief, and today it's like the accident never happened. I've been seeing Dr. Miller for about 2 years now and I am so excited about the future!
